Physical Exam
The most important part of pet preventative medicine is the annual physical exam. This is not only important for the detection of changes in health status, but is also a great way to establish a baseline of exam findings to compare any future changes to. A physical exam is a comprehensive evaluation of the entire body, including:
- Weight
- Body Condition
- Theet and gums
- Eyes, ears, nose and throat
- Skin and coat
